Summary
This article introduces an open source script to enable macOS HiDPI with one click, aiming to solve the problem of blurry fonts and UI on mid- and low-resolution screens under macOS. This script provides native HiDPI options by spoofing resolutions without the need for third-party software, and supports fixing splash screens. The article details both remote and local installation methods, as well as shutdown and recovery methods through commands or recovery mode.
Today I suddenly discovered that the WeChat avatar and some fonts have become very blurry. The civilian monitors I have been using have never paid attention to this problem. Today I went to an Apple authorized store to take a look. Their monitors sell for 10,000 and above. This made me even more miserable when I was not rich. The products recommended by Douyin and Bilibili cost several thousand dollars, which is really unaffordable.
This is an open-source project on GitHub. The address is marked above; please follow it for the specific steps. Highly recommended.

The purpose of this script is to enable the HiDPI option for low and medium resolution screens, and has native HiDPI settings that do not require RDM software to set
in the system display settings.
The DPI mechanism of macOS is different from that of Windows. For example, a 1080p screen has scaling options of 125% and 150% under Windows. However, for the same screen under macOS, the scaling options simply adjust the resolution. This makes the fonts and UI look very small at the default resolution, and lowering the resolution makes them look blurry.

At the same time, this script can also fix the splash screen problem by injecting the patched EDID, or the splash screen problem after waking up from sleep. Of course, this repair will vary from person to person hidpi.command The logo will always be slightly enlarged in the second stage of booting, because the resolution is fake
